Synopsis

Heaven or hell? Over a period of forty days, God gave Mary K. Baxter visions of hell and commissioned her to tell all to
choose life. Here is an account of the place and beings of hell contrasted with the glories of heaven. It is a reminder of
the need each of us has for the miracle of salvation.

Great experience; A wake-up call to those who would wait!
The descriptions and realities described in this book are the perfect wake-up to those christians who have been
tempted to get comfortable in the world and what it has to offer. Many have forgotten that we are determining our
eternal lives right here and now. This inspired book is one of the things the church needs to hear.

Powerful, gripping account of the suffering found in hell.
I read this book in two days. I could not put it down. I would read, and pray, read and pray, read and pray. I knew that I
had to have a copy of this book for every one of my unsaved friends. This book will change your life, be it that you are a
Christian or an unsaved person looking for conviction. I highly recommend this book as a tool in evangalism.

The most complete book I've ever read about the subject
This book answered every question I've ever had about hell. Hell is a very real place and I'm glad this was confirmed
thru Mary K. Baxter by the loving Grace of Jesus Christ. We truly will have no excuse when we stand before God on the
soon coming day of judgement.

Don't Pass This Up
I read it and I new it was the truth. Mary K. Baxter goes into detail about what is already talked about in the Bible about
hell and I really can't find any conflicting information. Those who do not despise prophecy will probably accept this book.
Those who do, won't. This book has helped me in my walk to remain strong and has made me more confident about my
own salvation in Jesus Christ. A must read for anyone.

Unscriptural, repetitive, and possible confusing.
The main question the Gospel Book Club asked was "Why?" Why would Jesus have to take a person through what
Mary K. Baxter went through when He has already given us His Word? Why would Mary K. be so tormented during the
day, when it was Jesus, the Prince of Peace, who was supposedly giving her this revelation? Why was much of the
book, and her 40-day tour, so repetitive? Why did she list the Scriptures at the end of the book, when it was at the end
where she recommended that we read the Scriptures as we read the book? Examples of areas that we felt could not
be verified with Scripture were the jail-like holding cells for some of the lost souls, Hell's shape as a body, and the
babies' heaven.

The Gospel Book Club believes this book could possibly confuse new Christians or those who are not sure of what they
believe or how they believe it. While we didn't doubt that Ms. Baxter went through "something,"we questioned the
"divinity" of her revelation.

After reading the book, it brought home the importance of my job as a Minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
